This site offers a province-wide centralized system where women seeking midwifery care can request care.

The Bradley Method emphasizes that birth is a natural process: mothers are encouraged to trust their body and focus on diet and exercise throughout pregnancy; and it teaches couples to manage labor through deep breathing and the support of a partner or labor coach.

HypnoBirthing offers parents the skills to guide and prepare for a gentle and natural birth, by empowering them with a set of techniques and knowledge and therefore, full empowerment of their birthing experience.

 

ASAC is a part of a growing network of parents & health professionals who believe that childbirth is a normal & healthy part of life, of special significance to the pregnant woman & her family. ASAC envisions a world in which every woman gives birth with dignity, and experiences an empowered transition into motherhood, allowing her children to have the best start possible to their lives.

Spinning Babies leads women through activities in pregnancy to prepare for a straightforward, easier birth. It includes natural ways to help your breech baby turn head down, techniques to help your head down baby get anterior, flexed, and into your pelvis, create more room in your pelvis and make labor easier for you.

 

Providing information about vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) to women and their families. To provide emotional support to women and their partners who are planning a VBAC.

Postpartum

PPDA is a registered Non-profit Organization devoted to raising awareness & resources for Postpartum Depression & Perinatal Mood Disorders across Canada, and helping individuals & families get the support they need.
